Research Associate (01 June 2023 – 31 May 2025)
Iam a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the groups of Dr Bob Schroeder and Prof. Giorgio Volpe working on the development of organic semiconductors to be deposited by droplet manipulation techniques. I received my PhD in the Schroeder group at UCL on the design, synthesis, and characterisation of new materials to be used as n-type organic conductors and semiconductors. I was especially interested in the mechanisms behind electron transfer in dopant-semiconductor pairs, and in the optimisation of synthetic pathways to high electron affinity polymers. I have since carried on as a postdoctoral researcher at UCL where I have worked on making polymers capable of self-healing through supramolecular interactions, as well as new polymerisation procedures for donor-acceptor polymers.
