Congratulations to Anshu who has successfully passed her PhD viva

Anshu Thapa

PhD Student (2019-2024)

Anshu completed her PhD in Soft Matter under the supervision of Prof. Giorgio Volpe and Dr Matthew Blunt in the Department of Chemistry at UCL. During her PhD, Anshu studied the dynamics of aqueous droplets at solid-like liquid-liquid interfaces. Congratulations Anshu!

Prior to starting her PhD, Anshu was teaching science for two years at Secondary level in the UK. Anshu obtained her masters in Physics from the University of Bath in 2017 with a cross-disciplinary research project focussing on unveiling the underlying mechanisms behind biosensing for easy detection of cancer biomarker CA19-9 in partnership with the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil under the supervision of Osvaldo N. Oliveira.
